Ruth is a B.A. graduate of U of I-Chicago Campus and an M.P.H. graduate of Northwestern Univ. Medical School (NU). She was a faculty member of the NU Med School and co-authored scientific articles on cardiac epidemiology. As a leading Chief Information Officer (CIO), she has been quoted in CIO Decisions, InformationWeek, Optimize, NetworkWorld, InfoWorld, ComputerWeekly, and elsewhere on a variety of technology and leadership issues. She is an emeritus member of the InformationWeek Advisory Board. She served for 17 years on the NU College of Engineering Advisory Council (MAC) where she was the first woman Chairman. Out of over 18,000 women graduates, she was appointed to the NU President’s Council of 100 Executive Women. She is also currently an executive mentor in the Columbia Univ. School of Continuing Education. Ruth has been featured in 2 books – Secrets of 6 Figure Women & Mother Leads Best.

Carl E. Reid

Coming from humble beginnings Mr. Reid learned from his mother of Puerto Rican heritage and his father from Barbados, to keep the bar raised high in the honest values of work ethics to achieve success. Through survival skills learned growing up on the mean streets of the Edenwald projects, in the Bronx, Carl transferred his street smart savvy into the corporate arena. His first introduction to business success was achieved by obtaining his first managerial position at the age of 16.
